Historicus har sin hemvist Dystopin i humanistklustret i Nya Studenthusets A-trappa, femte våningen och till vänster. Den mer akademiska hemvisten är vid institutionen för filosofi, historia, kultur-och konstforskning vilken finns på Unionsgatan 38A, andra våningen.

Welcome to Historicus r.f!

Historicus r.f. is a student organisation in which all Swedish-speaking students of history at the Faculty of Arts, University of Helsinki, are members. Historicus serves as an interest group in matters of studying at the university and student politics, and organises various activities such as meetings, presentations, seminars, parties, excursions, etc. The organisation was founded in 1962 and it shares its club premises - called 'Exilen' and located on the 3rd floor of the Uusi Ylioppilastalo (New Student House, Mannerheimintie 5A, 00100 Helsinki) - with five other student organisations. Historicus publishes a student maganizine called Papyrus four times a year. In connection with a spring excursion, a seminar publication is published once every two years.

Historicus has close contacts and co-operation with Kleio (the history students at Åbo Akademi), Kronos r.y. (the Finnish-speaking history students at the Faculty of Arts, University of Helsinki) and HOL-HSF r.y. (an umbrella organisation for all students of history at Finnish universities). Historicus also actively participates in the International Students of History Association (ISHA).
